I had a superior at work, a director, who was even my generation and who studied at the faculty where I also studied, but unfortunately we did not get along at all. More precisely, I did not agree with him. He was tiring and boring and there was no way I could stand him. I couldn’t sleep for months because of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was coming to work sleepless and I was sick as soon as I saw him. On the seminars of the new evangelization, I learned that forgiveness is one of the most important steps if you want to grow and develop spiritually, that you should look at a person and forgive him in spirit. Very quickly I began to apply the same in my life, and especially in the workplace to experience what it is like to forgive in spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a painful period and mutual intolerance between the director and me, I decided I would persistently forgive him and not give up until I saw the results. Very quickly, I noticed that all of a sudden, I could only see good on him. I even started praising him. I simply accepted him as he was and started to love him. One day he walked into a crowded office and cheerfully said, \u201cI bought two slices of Sacher cake, one for me and the other for you. I know you like Sacher cake. \u201d I knew right away that forgiveness in spirit is great, and I decided to continue to apply it in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To accept man as he is and never look evil at him, only good. I realized that as soon as I forgive, I am the one who becomes happy. I\u2019m not full of negative and depressive thoughts that distract me and don\u2019t allow me to go forward but hold me in place or even pull me backwards.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I realized that when I don\u2019t want to forgive that I\u2019m the one at a loss.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a loss for me, my whole being because it destroys my spirit, psyche and body. My whole person suffers, and the person is me. That is why it is necessary to forgive every day, to practice it every day, but also to forgive oneself your own fears, mistakes, incompetence, helplessness and stumbles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We often do not know how to forgive ourselves, and the most important thing is to forgive others and ourselves and to ask for forgiveness in spirit from those we have offended. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, I realized how wonderful it is to have such a director and will never want to change him. It is possible to be happy at work as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
