Tomislav Ivančić, ‘Hagiotherapy in the Encounter with Man’
Meditation is listening to the most superb human ability, which is called spiritual ability. It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is powerless. Look into the dimension of the spirit within you, where all solutions are possible.
Remember: you can despair, but you can also hope for a way out of the crisis.
You can kill yourself, but you can also look for a way, a path and strength to survive all deaths. You can stare into the dark, or you can open your eyes to the light.
You can surrender to defeat and humiliation, but you can also defy evil, choose life, success, getting out of the darkness and healing.
It’s your call. It’s up to you. Today, remember that you only have yourself and that you are the decision for life. It all depends on your decision. You are allowed to lose anything but yourself, never and in no circumstances. Fall in love with yourself because you are all you have and all that remains after every single failure.
You are Creator’s gift to you. Have you accepted yourself?
What is of the utmost importance?
Only two things are: first of all, you are important and second of all your Creator is important. If you accept yourself, then go to the Creator to heal, protect and encourage you. Accept yourself, and find growth, purpose and fulfillment of all your longings drawing near the Creator.
Stay in meditation long enough, as long as you experience healing, transformation, new strength taking place in you.
Don’t forget: do such meditation every day.
Think and maybe write it down
Good and evil, health and illness, freedom and addiction are present in the world…
You have freedom; it’s your call, to choose good or evil…
Evil takes away everything from you, even your life…

For this purpose, he developed the method of hagiotherapy and founded in 1990 in Zagreb the Center for Spiritual Help, of which he is the head. From 1971, in addition to working at the faculty, he was a student religious teacher in Zagreb, the initiator of the prayer movement within the Church of the Croats, the founder of a religious society called the Prayer and Word Community(MiR), and the leader of numerous seminars for spiritual renewal and evangelization at home and abroad.
