ORDER OR DISORDER
In the world around us, everything happens rhythmically. Minutes, hours, days, months, and years alternate. After night always comes day, after spring summer, after autumn winter. The beginning and end of the working day, school classes, academic year are determined for us… In our life there is a time for work and a time for rest. Everything is somehow arranged and purposeful.
Plants have a time of fertilization, flowering and finally picking fruits. Migratory birds thus clearly know when the journey to warmer regions begins. Even our organism itself gives us signs of order and regularity. Our heart is working properly if its beats are in the range of 50 to 100 beats per minute. Everything else damages its work. A mother carries a child in her womb for 40 weeks. If the child is born earlier or later, there is a certain risk for the mother and the child. If our blood pressure values are too low or two high, man does not feel well.
There is also a natural moral law in man. It is like a road sign that clearly gives us instructions and points us in the right direction. Just like our conscience. The spiritual soul, as the centre of man, also has its own clear structure.
You can be in order or in disorder. If you are distracted, you are in disorder, you are not well. If you are lazy and sluggish and cannot get to work that you should have done a long time ago, you are in disorder. If your conscience warns you because you did something ugly, you are not at peace with yourself and others. If you judge someone, gossip, constantly criticize, you have fallen out of goodness. If you are trapped by various negative habits such as cursing, smoking, excessive drinking of alcohol or you have already stepped into some kind of addiction, your soul is sending you an alarm – return, enter the order again.
Think for a moment, is there order or disorder in your day?
How do you perform your duties?
Do you do your work on time?
Are you often late?
Are you wise or rash?
Can you stop and separate the essential from the unimportant?
Do you have time in the day when you recollect yourself and clear your thoughts?
Only He who is true order can also ‘bring us into order’. That tender Father’s heart that knows our every need and longing is still waiting for you today…
Put Him in the first place before all your obligations and chores and you will experience how then everything you planned will be in order and exactly as it should be.
