In the company of Mary
The course of the meditation: If you have a picture of Mary, look at her while sitting or standing. Just enought to make you realize that the Blessed Virgin Mary is really there. For, a person with spiritual qualities of the body is everywhere. Especially where your love for Mary and her love for you is. Stay in that strong presence of Mary. Say softly with your heart, „HELLO, MARY, hello, mother!“ until you are seized by the truth of Mary’s presence. Listen to her speech in your heart, in your feelings, in your spirit. Listen, but be deeply calm and relaxed. Talk to Mary like to a friend and a mother. Talk to her. Let simple faith carry you. You can also sing to Jesus and your Mother.
Jesus mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, had already experienced the resurrection of the body. It will only happen to us on Judgment Day. Like Jesus, so is Mary with us not only in soul (as saints) but also in a body that has resurected, spiritual qualities. That is why she is somehow different, more directly and fully present among us than the saints. She is, finally, because of her immaculate conception, because of her motherhood of God, virginity and co-redemptive care for us, far more eminently present among us.
She was given to being our mother, so her special maternal presence is realized. Pilgrimage sites dedicated to her througout the Church testify to this. Mary has mighty power, given to her by God through her Son Jesus. She loves us endlessly, understands us, sympathizes with us, longs for us, cares for us. It is a magnificent reality, a magnificent possibilty of touching the otherwordly. Many saints testify that Mary appeared to them and talked with them. Pilgrimage sites exude this her „tangible“ presence. She calls us to her so that she could, like a mother, take us by the hand and bring us to Jesus. And he rebirths us, heals us, and fills us with His Spirit.

He was born in Davor in 1938. After studying philosophy and theology in Zagreb and Rome, he was ordained a priest of the Zagreb Archdiocese in 1966. After achieving a master’s degree in philosophy and a doctorate in theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, he returned to Zagreb in 1971, where he became a professor at the Catholic Faculty of Theology, University of Zagreb. He is the head of the Chair of Fundamental Theology, and was one of the editors of the Theological Review. Areas of his scientific work are philosophy, theology and literature. He explores the relationship between philosophy and theology, faith and science, atheism and religiosity, revelation and faith, the Church and ecclesial communities, Christianity and religion, the phenomenon of sects and issues of theological epistemology. His special field of interest is the study of man’s existential-spiritual dimension, where he discovers the way of modern evangelization and the necessity of the development of spiritual medicine, which, along with somatic and psychological, is indispensable in the complete healing of man, especially in the healing of spiritual diseases and addictions. For this purpose, he developed the method of hagiotherapy and founded in 1990 in Zagreb the Center for Spiritual Help, of which he is the head. From 1971, in addition to working at the faculty, he was a student religious teacher in Zagreb, the initiator of the prayer movement within the Church of the Croats, the founder of a religious society called the Prayer and Word Community(MiR), and the leader of numerous seminars for spiritual renewal and evangelization at home and abroad.
